What is recorded here

Fairy forts across Ireland are earthen ringforts, circular ditches and banks built by people, not fairy kingdoms. They belong to the old farming and living landscape, and they still mark the shape of human choice under the sky. Much of what is exciting about them is that people lived there, died there, forgot them for a time, and are remembering them again.
