Lisroe, the russet ringfort, stands thirty-three metres across in Tulla Beg, its earthen bank still proud enough to cast a shadow at noon. A fieldbank cuts east-west through the circle, dividing the ancient interior like a knife through a coin, yet two gaps remain open at the east and southeast as if the fort never stopped expecting visitors. The soil remembers footsteps long gone, perhaps children chasing rabbits or adults arguing about boundary stones, while the name suggests something brighter and less reasonable than human ownership.

Internal diameter 33m N-S, 34m E-W Lisroe/Lios rua (the russet ringfort). This circular univallate rath is cut by a fieldbank running E-W. The enclosing earthen bank is well-defined and on average measures 1.9m externally and 1m internally in height. The width of the bank at the base measures 5.5m.
