What is recorded here
Half the fort disappeared in 1947 and the rest in 1998, leaving Treanboy with a smooth field where a ring once stood. It is not easy to grieve what no longer shows itself, but the lost circle still occupies the memory of the place.
In level pasture. Monument, depicted on 1924 OS 6-inch map as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m), has been levelled. No trace of monument evident when inspected. According to local information half of enclosure levelled in 1947 and remainder in 1998.
