Fairy fort in Trabolgan, County Cork: a 30-metre earthen ring on a gentle sea-facing slope, with two banks, a narrow ditch between them, and a four-metre gap in the inner bank to the east. People may have lived there, herded there, or kept something back from the field; the shape still answers like a room without a roof. The quarry to the south and the levelled bank to the west suggest reuse, not abandonment.

In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope, c. 80m N of coastline. Circular area (30.2m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening fosse. Inner bank (int. H 1.8m) stone faced in parts; outer bank (H 0.95m) levelled for short section to WNW and SE. Gap (Wth 4m) in inner bank to E. Interior slopes down to E. Quarry short distance to S of enclosure.
