Tooraleagan holds a double-banked ringfort beside the Ahaphuca River, its earthworks still marking a small rectangular chamber at the northwest edge. The fort sits among pasture and ancient boundaries, suggesting people once shaped that land for defense, residence, or ritual before farms and tracks cut across it. Its name invites fairy legend, yet the visible banks and ditch speak to human hands, memory, and the ordinary seriousness of life in County Limerick.

In pasture 120m E of the Ahaphuca River that marks the townland boundary with Tulla. Standing stone (LI057-053----) lies 300m to SE and enclosure (LI057-054----) 350m to E. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised sub-rectangular-shaped area (dims. c. 20m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by a scarp with external fosse and outer bank from SE-S-NW. Surveyed in 1978 when described as a double banked and ditched ringfort (diam. 22m) enclosed by a ditch (Wth 2m) and outer bank (Wth 0.5m; H 0.5m) at W. Truncated at N by a dyke running E-W. At NW there are remains of a rectangular-shaped area (dims. 6m x 10m) enclosed by banks that may represent a structure.
