Fairy fort in Tonymore North, County Longford, marked as a circular enclosure on the 1837 Ordnance Survey map. The earth has been levelled, but a low scarp still traces a circle about fifty-three metres across, and a modern-looking mound sits at the centre. Whatever lived there has been flattened, yet the shape remains, holding its ground beneath the fields.
On a drumlin ridge. Depicted as a circular enclosure with the designation 'Fort' on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. The monument has been levelled. However, a low scarp, extending in an arc from NE-S-W, may still be traced defining a circular area (diam. c. 53m). The original entrance is not recognisable. At the centre of the interior is a modern-looking mound of earth and stone.
