What is recorded here

Half the fort has vanished under plough and boundary stone, but the western bank still holds its shape like a muscle remembered rather than seen. The missing eastern half does not feel like loss so much as invitation: a room where the ordinary world stops pretending it understands the shape of the place. What remains is not a ruin to be completed but a threshold waiting to be recognized.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 38.4m) enclosed by a bank which has been replaced by a modern field boundary from W-NW-N, and a fosse. The E half of the site has been levelled although the outline of the enclosing features is still identifiable. Original entrance not recognisable. The site is encircled by a modern field boundary from SE-S-WSW. Indications of a possible Man-made underground passage (CV022-033002-) in the internal area.
