What is recorded here
Fairy forts are often ring-shaped. That is why people called them fairy forts. In Tobermurry the ring has vanished under a silage pit and farm shed. The fairies never left. They simply stopped being visible.
In rough pasture, in natural depression with higher ground to E and W. Monument, depicted on 1841 OS 6-inch map as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m), has been levelled. A silage pit has been built on site, with large farm shed immediately to E.
