Fairy fort in Tober, County Donegal: a 27.9m ring on the Knocknarevoge ridge, reduced to a thin western bank, a silted ditch and two short outer banks. It sits in cultivated land with wide views, more like a shadow of a fortress than a proud one. Perhaps people lived there, feared there or simply passed it by; the earth has kept only enough to suggest shape.

Internal diam. 27.9m. An overgrown subcircular area enclosed by a much destroyed earthen bank only surviving on the W, and only 10cms in height. There is also a silted-up fosse and an outer bank surviving in two short stretches to the E and W up to .8m in height. It is situated on a N-S ridge, Knocknarevoge, in cultivated land with good views. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
