Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Tanrego East OR Carrowmore is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Tanrego East OR Carrowmore, County Sligo, Ireland. The raised circular area spans 44 metres and has a 0.8 to 1.1 metre scarp. Coniferous trees now grow inside the slightly domed boundary. The site may be a natural landscape feature rather than an ancient monument.
Situated in rolling coastal pasture within the demesne lands of Tanrego House. Raised circular area (diam. 44m) defined by a scarp (H 0.8m - 1.1m). The area thus defined, which is slightly domed in profile, has been planted with coniferous trees. This site may be a landscape feature rather than an antiquity.
