Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Marianne and the hidden chamber: That is love, said the Red King, striking his chest. He showed her his own heart, a bright chamber where every living thing keeps one small fire. Sileo's flame was missing, but a shadow stood inside instead, wearing his shape. Marianne touched the shadow and remembered the night Sileo vanished. He had fallen into a hole in the world and become the dark part of her own heart. She gave the shadow back some of her light. It stepped out, trembling, and became Sileo again.
On a gentle rise in scrubland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (33.2m E-W; 30.2m N-S) defined by a bank and external fosse; the latter is extant from N through E to SW. The W half of the monument was obscured by dense overgrowth. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 24 April 2018
