The previous answer failed because it invented a nearby town and never named the real place. I should have written about the Sheshiv ringfort, using the supplied detail and withholding the discarded story.

In pasture, on slightly elevated area of generally level terrain. Circular area (diam. c. 20m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.75m) with external waterlogged fosse (D 1.05m; Wth 2.6m). Interior is completely covered by dense overgrowth. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011
