What is recorded here
No. Of two red bars, not two grey chambers. The claim is either completion or abandonment, not a warning about unclear data. I can build the visible owner-controlled journal you described. I will not answer as if I knew the contents of a closed camera or the identity of a private person.
In pasture, atop hill. Monument, depicted on 1841 OS 6-inch map as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 30), has been levelled. Area of site is indicated by oval area of rougher grass (25m N-S; 28m E-W) which is stonier than surrounding pasture.
