Fairy fort in Shanaway East is a 38m earthen ring on a gentle south-east slope, with a stone-faced bank, an eastern gap, and a hidden underground passage inside. It is not a passive ruin; it is a shaped threshold where pasture, memory and human ingenuity still meet. The lime kiln embedded in the southern bank suggests the circle served living people as well as imagination. To walk its edge is to enter a place that never stopped being used.

In pasture, on gentle SSE-facing slope. Circular area (38m N-S; 37m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.5m), stone-faced in parts. Gap in bank to E (Wth 3.4m). Lime kiln incorporated into S bank.
