Fairy fort in Rudder, County Meath: a 40m earthen ring with a western annexe, visible in cropmark on a gentle east-facing slope. The ditch is shallow enough to walk through yet continuous enough to exclude forgetting. A farm family may have set children inside at dusk, not to play but to be remembered by the field. The land kept the shape when human pride declined.

Located on a gentle E-facing slope. The cropmark of a subrectangular area (dims c. 40m N-S; c. 40m E-W) defined by a single continuous ditch feature (Wth c. 2-4m) is visible on Bing Images (c. 2013). A subrectangular annexe (dims c. 20m N-S; c. 20m E-W) defined by a lighter ditch feature (Wth c. 1m) is attached to the perimeter of the rath at W.
