Fairy fort in Ross More, County Leitrim: a grass-covered earthen ring on a drumlin slope, with entrance gaps at north and south. People may have lived there, fenced stock, or marked boundary before writing arrived. The bank still stands low and overgrown, holding the shape of human urgency on a hill that never stopped moving earth.

Situated towards the top of the E-facing slope of a NNW-SSE drumlin at its S end. This is a grass-covered subcircular area (int. dims c. 50m N-S; c. 45m E-W) defined by a low, overgrown, earthen bank (at N: Wth of base 4.1m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.75m) with a shallow fosse (at N: Wth of top 3m; Wth of base 1.9m; ext. D 0.2m). There are entrance gaps at N and S.
