What is recorded here

Rathduff held a twenty-five-metre earthen ring beside the railway, visible only on the 1842 map before levelled pasture erased it. The lost fort may have sheltered people, stored grain or marked a boundary, yet no stone or ditch remains for judgment. What is certain is that the circle existed, was measured and disappeared.
