In pasture. According to local information, (Hartnett 1939, 249), site of fort, levelled long ago. 'Faintest traces .... discernible' giving diameter of 'approximately 200 feet'; 'during tillage operations (circa 1937) ....large quantities of vitrified stone' found in interior while immediately outside fort to S and SE 'was found a rich black deposit, which was subsequently used as "top-dressing" for the adjacent fields' (ibid., 249-50).
