What is recorded here

No visible fort remains, but the land still holds the shape of a chamber: a round room with a broken edge and a shadow line across one wall. The chamber is not complete enough to photograph as a fact, nor is it empty enough to dismiss. It belongs to the region’s buried life, where human hands and natural decay both made the form. To describe it without inventing a history is to say that the earth kept a room, and the room waited for recognition.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 33m) enclosed by an earthen bank and a shallow fosse overgrown with scrub, which survives only from S-SW-W. Break in bank at SE may represent original entrance.
