What is recorded here
Located on a fairly level landscape with a slight slope down to the SE. The cropmark of a circular area (diam. c. 60m) defined by what might be a single bank feature is visible on aerial photographs (ASIAP, WX71, 25-9; WX100, 12-13). Archaeological monitoring of a pipe-trench just outside the perimeter at NE failed to produce any related material (Power 2015).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
