Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Prospect (Rathcool parish) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Prospect (Rathcool parish), County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a raised sub-circular area measuring 62 metres north-south and 58 metres east-west, enclosed by an earthen scarp and a low bank. A roughly four-metre-wide entrance at the east-south-east is blocked with dead wood, while a ten-metre-wide, half-metre-deep external ditch runs along the north to northwest side. Possible traces of a circular or oval feature appear within the centre of the interior.
In pasture, incorporated into paddock for horses, to S of farmyard. Raised (H 0.6m) sub-circular area (dims. 62m N-S; 58m E-W) defined by earthen scarp (Wth 4.7m; H 1.3m) NNE-ESE and SSE-NW. Bank (Wth 6.2m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.45m) is low NW-NNE and ESE-SSE. Entrance (Wth c. 4m) at ESE is blocked up with dead wood. External fosse (Wth 10m; D 0.5m) N-NW.
