Fairy fort in Preghane, County Cork: earthen ringfort, about 30m across, on a north-facing slope now in tillage. Two low banks and a ditch mark most of the circle, with a shallow outer ditch at the northwest. People may have lived there before fields took it over, or the hills may have kept it for themselves.

In tillage, on N-facing slope. Depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m). Arc (C 22.2m) survives SW->NNW; formed by two earthen banks (H c. 0.9m) with intervening fosse; shallow external fosse to NW.
