What is recorded here

Fairy forts are earthen ringforts, and this is one: a shallow circular ditch and bank, partly cut by a later field wall, sitting in open farmland west of Ballymoe. Its shape is still wide enough to see, but much of the southern edge has been farmed, rained or rolled away. People may have lived there, excluded others from it, or simply marked the flat land with a boundary the eye could follow.

Some 100m W of an enclosure (GA007-099----). Very poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W 53.7m, N-S 50m) defined by a degraded scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank. A field wall cuts the monument at SSE and SSW and no visible surface trace survives to S of it.
