Na Huláin Thoir holds a broken earthen ring where field stones still clutter the bank. People called it a fairy fort, but humans likely built the circle before trusting it to fairies. The gaps face north and east, inviting entry or escape depending on which story you believe.

In pasture, on gradual S-facing slope, on E side of stream. Circular area (25m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by earthen bank (H 1m). Gaps in bank to N and ESE (Wth 2.2m). Field clearance stones dumped on bank and in interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
