What is recorded here
No visible trace remains in Mweennalaa, County Kerry. The land may have swallowed the rampart, or the rampart may have vanished into the fairy fort stories people still tell there. Either way, the fort stopped being a human boundary and became a threshold between the visible world and the hidden one.
