What is recorded here

Situated on a low hillock in an upland area with a nearby ringfort (TN031-029) to the NE. A slightly raised circular area (diam. 24.5m E-W) enclosed by a low earthen bank (Wth 1.5-2.5m; int. H 0.3-0.7m; ext. H 0.5-1m) with traces of a shallow external fosse. Possible entrance gap (Wth 2.5m) at E. There are several depressions in the W sector of the interior which may be the result of quarrying. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
