Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Munnane

In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope, above steep slope. Circular raised area (19.5m N-S) defined by scarp (max. H 1.6m) S->N; low bank SSE->S (int. H 0.25m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
