Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Mullenbeg

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Mullenbeg holds a genuine earthen ringfort, yet local memory calls it a fairy fort. That contradiction is not a mistake; it is the shape of the place. People built or used the ridge, then lost the human meaning and gave the unknown back to the fairies. The earth kept both truths at once: a made home and a forgotten one.
