What is recorded here

Two circular raths, one twenty-nine metres across and the other thirty-five, still touch in the undulating grassland of Mullaghmore East. Grass and time have swallowed most of the banks, but the western ditch and southern ridge remain sharp enough to show the shape of the last hands that cut or built them. The conjoined form suggests one household, one argument, or one shared defence rather than two separate farms.

In undulating grassland. Poorly preserved much-overgrown conjoined rath. The W enclosure (D c. 29m), circular in plan, is.defined by a bank and external fosse best preserved from S to SW. The E enclosure (D c. 35m), also circular in plan, is defined by a bank.
