What is recorded here
Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Moy (trough By.) stands just south of a local summit on a north-south drumlin ridge in County Monaghan, Ireland. A circular, densely overgrown area twenty-six metres across slopes slightly eastward, bounded by a faint earthen bank and traces of an external fosse. Its eastern entrance, three and a half metres wide at the base, still faces the light. People may have lived, hidden, or worshipped there before the green took back the shape. The land remembers the hand that shaped it, even when the name has faded.
