Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Mortlestown (Cooleagh parish) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Mortlestown (Cooleagh parish), County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a low hillock in grassland with wide views. The circular area measures 28 metres north-south and 34 metres east-west. An earth and stone bank, inner ditch and outer bank enclose it where they remain visible from south through west to north.

In grassland on a low hillock in undulating countryside with good views in all directions. Ringfort, separated by a fosse (base Wth 3m; top Wth 6m; D 1m) from a larger ringfort to the E (TS054-069001-). Circular area (int. diam. 28m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (top Wth 1.5m; base Wth 4m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.5-3.5m), fosse (base Wth 3m; top Wth 7m; ext. D1.7m) and external bank (top Wth 1m; base Wth 2.5m; ext. H 0.3m) visible from S through W to N only enclosing smaller ringfort where it runs into enclosing fosse of larger ringfort at NE and SE, no clear evidence for an outer bank enclosing the larger ringfort. Causewayed entrance (Wth 3m) at W gives direct access to interior of ringfort with a causeway (Wth 7m) at E which gives access into the larger adjoining ringfort to W. Enclosing bank is at its highest externally and most impressive along the N sector where the fosse is also at its widest and deepest. Evidence of an external bank (top Wth 1m; base Wth 2.5m; ext.
