What is recorded here

Situated on a marked NW-facing slope on the edge of a forestry plantation. Oval area (dims. 32.9m NW-SE; 35.8m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.4m; max. H 0.8m) and slight traces of an external fosse (Wth 2m) at the S. No indication of an entrance or internal features. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
