Fairy fort in Moneygaff East is a circular earthen ring, 26 to 28 metres across, with a 1.4 metre bank on an east-facing slope. It is not a vague fairy tale; it is a rath, a human-made stronghold or boundary marker from the ancient Irish landscape. The stone-topped bank and possible underground passage suggest people lived, hid or worked there before the field was grass.

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Roughly circular area (26m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by low earthen bank (H 1.4m) NNE->W; topped by stone field boundary.
