Fairy fort in Monard, County Cork: a 42-metre earthen ring on a south-facing pasture slope, with a 3.9-metre scarp and shallow outside ditch. Its interior was leveled and raised toward the south, fitting a lived-on place rather than a forgotten heap. People may have kept animals, buried pots, or avoided it after dark; the earth still holds that much of the choice.

In pasture on S-facing slope. Raised circular area (42m N-S; 40m E-W) defined by scarp (H 3.9m) SE->NW; overgrowth NW->NE. Shallow external fosse SW->NE.
