What is recorded here

Fairy forts scatter across Ireland, but Molum holds one of the largest and best preserved. Its broad earth bank and inner ditch still cut through the fields, marking a place where people lived, died and were forgotten long before written records. The size suggests importance, perhaps a local centre rather than a humble farm. The absence of explanation does not diminish it; it refuses to be reduced into a small story.
