Situated on W facing slope of rising ground, in grassland, with extensive views from SW-N. Ringfort (WM003-082---) 130m to S. A slightly raised sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 31m NE-SW; 25m NW-SE) enclosed by two earthen banks and a slight intervening fosse. The inner bank is substantial and well preserved, with an entrance gap (Wth 1.55m) at W. The outer bank has been levelled to a scarp in places, and from SW-NW a field fence, which is also the boundary with Ballinealeo townland runs along the line of this outer bank.
