Half-hidden in a field in Rakeevan, the ringfort keeps its shape: a broad earthen bank, a cut ditch, and a break on the west side where an entrance may have stood. Inside, a narrow passage still goes down into the earth, as if the fort were not only a home but a threshold. People may have lived above it, feared what lived below it, or simply stopped asking because the ground already answered.

Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 33m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a fosse. Break in the bank at W may represent original entrance. Within the internal area there are the remains of a possible Man-made underground passage (CV034-040002-).
