Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Loughturk West stands in gently undulating pastureland, a subcircular rath measuring 29m north-south and 26m east-west. Its earth-and-stone bank remains in fair condition, with a 2m eastern gap that may be original. Two hollows outside to the north and east-southeast suggest quarrying, while other ringforts lie within 90m to the west-northwest and south-southwest. The cluster hints at a busy settlement, though human traces have faded into grass and legend.

In gently undulating pastureland. Subcircular rath (N-S 29m, E-W 26m), in fair condition, defined by a bank of earth and stone. A gap (Wth 2m) at E may be original. Two-hollows visible outside the monument to N and ESE appear to be the result of quarrying. Other ringforts lie 85m to WNW (GA099-145----) and 90m to SSW (GA099-144----).
