Fairy fort in Lissyclearig Lower and Lissyclearig Upper is an earthen ringfort on a SW-facing slope above Kenmare Bay. Its 26m circular area still shows a 3.8m-wide bank, a 3.7m scarp, and an interior that slopes downward toward the bay. Cattle graze around it now, while trees and overgrowth reclaim the northern inside, making the old boundary feel less like a dead ruin and more like a place waiting to be remembered.

In pasture, on a SW-facing slope overlooking Kenmare Bay. A raised circular area (diam. 26m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.8m; int. H 1.1m) NE-E, by a scarp (H 3.7m) E-NW and truncated NW-NE by an E-W townland boundary. The interior slopes down to the SW. Trees grow around the perimeter and the northern part of the interior is covered with overgrowth. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
