Lissawavra is a ruined circular rath on a grassy rise in County Galway, reduced to a faint southern scarp and ditch after centuries of erosion. It may have been a small stronghold, a boundary marker, or a forgotten home, but the earth has taken most of its shape. What remains is enough to suggest that people once drew a line around their lives on this open land.

On a rise in grassland. Known locally as 'Lissawavra' (Neary 1914, 122, no. 126), this very poorly preserved originally circular rath (D c. 33m) is defined by a scarp and external fosse. The scarp survives from ESE through S to W, and the fosse from S to W. No visible surface trace survives elsewhere.
