Fairy fort in Lissavally, County Galway: a 33m earthen ring with a ditch, standing 170m southeast of another fort. Two rings so close suggest a small busy place, perhaps a family estate or seasonal gathering spot. People may have lived, argued, buried jars and left suddenly when trade or danger shifted. The name fairy fort is not mockery; it admits the edge of knowledge.

Some 170m SE of a ringfort (GA029-116----). Well-preserved circular ringfort (D 33m) defined by a bank and external fosse best preserved at SW. A gap at S could be original.
