Thirty-six metres of forgotten boundary still curve across the Galway ridge, though quarrying has bitten through the western and eastern edges. The fairies may have abandoned the fort when men came with shovels, leaving behind a hollow where breath and memory still catch.

On W-facing slope of a ridge in grassland. Very poorly preserved circular rath (D 36.5m) defined by a bank and external fosse. Quarrying has encroached upon the enclosing elements at NW and E. Causeway over the fosse at ESE appears modern. A ringfort (GA029-118----) lies c. 170m to SE.
