What is recorded here

No visible entrance, a low earthen ring about twenty-nine metres across, and a flat white stone in the middle: Lissannymore still keeps its shape like a forgotten room. People may have lived there, or excluded them, or simply marked the edge of a field they did not understand. The fort does not explain itself. It waits to be watched, remembered, or left alone.

Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 29m) enclosed by a low earthen bank, faced externally with drystone masonry from NNW-N-SE. Original entrance not recognisable.
