Fairy fort in Lisrobin West, County Cork: a low earthen arc about twenty metres long still rises along the townland boundary, though the western half has vanished into pasture. Bowman measured a five-foot bank and thirty-two-yard circle in 1934, large enough for a household, a byre, or a small defensive hold. The name fairy fort suggests people once refused to explain what the ring was for, giving the unknown a shape instead of admitting ignorance.

In pasture. Arc (C c. 20.2m) formed by low rise survives N->S on E side of townland boundary (Lisrobin West); no visible surface trace of site on W side of townland boundary (Reanagashel). Probably site recorded by Bowman (1934, 457) as single-ramparted fort (bank H c. 5ft; diam. c. 32yd) 'in C. Shine's, on boundary between Meens [sic] and Lisrobbin'.
