Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lisnarawer is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lisnarawer, County Sligo, Ireland. The raised oval area measures 26.4m NE-SW and 22m NW-SE, enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone 4.4m wide and 0.1m to 0.9m high. From S-W-WNW the outer face merges with a modern curving field boundary, while from WNW-NW-N a scarp defines the edge. No fosse is present, and the original entrance may have been at NE.
Situated on the W side of a NE-SW ridge in pasture. Raised oval area (dims. 26.4m NE-SW; 22m NW-SE) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone (Wth. 4.4m; H 0.1m - 0.9m). From S-W-WNW the outer face of the bank merges with a modern curving field boundary. From WNW-NW-N the defining element is a scarp. No fosse. Original entrance may have been at NE.
