What is recorded here
Fairy fort, earthen ringfort in Lismuse. A rath in County Clare, Ireland. The facts do not say when it was made, who lived there, or what the fort defended. They name only its kind and place. The shape may still stand where the field marks it. A ring of earth can outlive every book that forgot it.
