Situated on a low natural rise of ground with good views to the E and more moderate views to the N, W and S. Ringfort (WM002-006----) 300m to NNW, second ringfort (WM002-009---) 240m to NNE. Circular area (diam. 43m N-S; 54m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank with external fosse now mainly filled in, causewayed entrance gap at SSE. Old cultivation ridges aligned WSW-ESE run across the interior of the monument.
