Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lisheenteige is a circular rath, 35.5m across, in rolling Galway grassland. A bank and external fosse still mark most of the circle, while a laneway has taken the western and northern edge. At SE and NW a scarp rises inside the ring, as if the earth pulled the boundary inward. People may have lived, hidden or played around that tilted circle before roads redrew the land.

In rolling grassland. Circular rath (D 35.5m), in fair condition, defined by a bank and external fosse. At SE and NW a scarp forms the inner enclosing element.
