What is recorded here
In low-lying, gently undulating, wet pasture. Circular raised area (diam. 22m) defined by a gently sloping earthen scarp (Wth 4m; H 1.4m). At the external base of the scarp is a wide flat-bottomed fosse (Wth at base 2.4m; D 0.4m) and a low broad external earthen bank (overall Wth 6.5m; Wth at top 2m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.3m). The external bank is not visible NW-NE and ENE-SSW. The original entrance is not recognisable but is likely to have been on the SE side as the interior slopes slightly facing SE.
