Thirty-four metres of grass and soil mark the fairy fort in Lisgorran, perched on a drumlin ridge where an earthen bank still rises two metres high. The entrance faces an old farmyard, suggesting people lived beside or within the circle before lanes and fields cut through its outer ditch. Trees now shade the northern edge, hiding the shape from casual sight but preserving the boundary for those who know where to look.

Situated towards the top of the S-facing slope at the S end of a NNE-SSW drumlin ridge. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 34m NNW-SSE; 34m ENE-WSW) defined by an earthen bank (at NW: Wth of base 2.7m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 2.2m) with deciduous trees NW-ESE that has been re-formed SSW-W but is reduced to an external scarp elsewhere. There are traces of an outer fosse that has been widened into a water-hole E-SE and is converted into a lane with an outer field bank W-NW. The entrance (Wth of base 1.9m) is at NE, which is convenient to an old farmyard. The interior had become overgrown by 2000 (OSAP).
